A day to remember – not least for the biblical rains. But England Women vs Germany in 2014 was also historic; the first ever women’s international at Wembley.
England were well beaten; but despite some slightly incongruous booing, football was the winner in the end. The new Wembley stadium was better than I’d heard too. I’d go again.
