Relevant Complexity

The Audible.co.uk version of ‘The Rest is Noise – Listening to the 20th Century’ is at first irritating, then rewarding; if you can get beyond the dulcet tones of the American narrator.

Listening to it on and off, whilst at my kitchen chores, has transformed my understanding of a troubled period in world history; and taught me how the great composers lived through it – no shortage of complexity here.
